Doveton Clock Tower is said to be the oldest clock tower in the city of Madras. It was installed in the year 1900, apart from this year there is no other information about who opened it, who initiated the clock to be there on this particular location. The clock stands in the middle of the road to bisect Jeremiah Road and Hunter Road in Vepery.
