Chepauk Palace - Wallaja Road - Chepauk - Madras
The Chepauk Palace is the biggest palace in the Heart of the Madras city extending from the Madras University a.k.a The Senate House till the Presidency College, is now the home of the Public Works Department. Sad it’s getting destroyed day by day because of the poor maintenance as well as encroachment of the unauthorised people. And the sadder part is that the PWD can’t even look after this building i wonder how far they are going to take care of the public interest as well as welfare of the society.
Hi Statish, was this church ever known as the Methodist Episcopal Church, Blacktown? If not, do you know where it is or was?

ReplyDeleteI am 90% sure this is not the one you are referring to. Rite from the beginning it is called Wesley English Church. If such church is existing will try to get the pics. Any ways thank you for sharing your comments, please do share my link with other Madras lovers too.
